I am about to purchase my second pair, because my first pair have served me so well I don't want to get any other boot. My first pair lasted 5 years of hard use and abuse. They survived 5 winters were it regularly snows 300 inches a year and below zero temps. They are comfortable and the water proofing works. They get super warm and I find my feet getting almost too hot. I used them everything from daily walking to class, to backpacking in the deep woods, and working in the summer at my current job that requires steel toes. I would highly recommend these boots.

These boots are great, but don't underestimate them. If it's not going to be really cold, then don't wear them or your feet will sweat to death. I wore them in WY when it was -17 and -50 wind chill and my feet never even felt the cold. Don't make the mistake that I did and get them a size big because you think you'll need extra socks because these things are HOT and you can wear your normal size.
