ABOUT THE BOOT
Belleville Boot Company® was one of the original American boot makers selected to produce the iconic Vietnam jungle boot. Returning to those roots, Belleville introduces its new “Canopy” boot for operations in jungle and tropical climates.
The Canopy features significant upgrades in construction and materials compared to the older jungle boot; including a dual density rubber outsole which provides better shock absorption and a new Puncture Resistant textile insole that provides superior puncture protection at reduced weight and increased flexibility.
The Canopy retains the classic, non-loading Panama outsole…having long proved its worth in shedding mud and providing superior traction in jungle environments.

My last pair of issued boots (AF retired 2005) are Bellvilles. Issued around 2003 and I'm still wearing them.

I had purchased Belleville boots in the past and noticed this new arrival. I had used this type of boot in the past hiking and backpacking around Arizona since the early 70's until the early 80' when they were no longer available. I recently purchased this boot, and I am very satisfied with the fit, the workmanship, and the customer service and the fast shipping provided by Belleville Boot Company.

I was worried about the sizing. Regular army boots with the vents and vibram sole for hot weather, they always come too big and I thought I'd have to go down half a size. Turns out they fit true to size. I wear 12 Wide and they fit fantastically. Adding a superfeet insoles helps a little too. Glad they fit. Love how they look.

Recently bought a pair, just like I wore in the Marines 45 years ago. Great fit, easy to wear and comfortable.

These boots are great. I love the way they look and feel. The quality is evident and I don't really have any complaints. The only thing is sizing. The website acknowledges that sizing depends on the type and brand of shoe so I'll just say that I normally wear a size 12 but 12 wide seemed the way to go. Once again, other than sizing, there are really no complaints.
